Porte d'Orléans

- The café crêperie Rouge Pomme, first café on the left when you exit the terminal... Nice deco, good atmosphere...

- The Bar & restaurant Autopassion... for all cars and races fans!... But not only. A very nice and cosy place for drinking or eating.

- If you visit Paris, you can stay at the very nearby hotel Virgina. Just outside the Bus 38's terminal, rue du Père Corentin.

- The bakery Aux jardins de Paul'Ha, at the corner of rue du Père Corentin and rue Beaunier... Very friendly, you can have snack there anytime of day...

- The other bakery is pâtisserie Thévenin, outside the terminal, right side, avenue du Général Leclerc.. Often queuing there.. cos it's so delicious !! ;-)


Mouton Duvernet

- Restaurant "Les fils de la ferme", 5 rue Mouton Duvernet. French cooking.

- Following rue Mouton Duvernet to its end, you will find the bistrot "Chez Félicie", across avenue du Maine. Lovely deco, good food and atmosphere.


Denfert Rochereau

- Le bistrot Les Pingouins ... at the end of rue Daguerre. A very good address. Delicious rench cooking, simple and not too expensive, in a very friendly atmosphere. (a bus 38's driver shows his pictures there...)

- Restaurant "Chez Papa", corner of rue Froideveaux and rue Gassendi. South-west of France specialities. Better to book a table in advance.. but you will not be disappointed by the georgeous meal you will get!! A real taste of traditional french food ! (not tourist one ;-) ...


St. Vincent de Paul

- The Monastic workshop , facing rue Cassini. A place to visit.


Port Royal

- The Beer academy , 88 boulevard de Port Royal. All types of beers from all countries...



- Le Petit Journal St.Michel for Jazz New-Orléans amateurs... facing our bus stop.


Les écoles

- Gibert Musique. Great choice of CDs, new and second hand.


Saint Michel

- Restaurant "Les femmes savantes", rue Suger. Very original place to go! (Search for the entrance door !...)


Cité - Palais de Justice

- The Flower market (and Birds market on sundays!). very typical market in the island, where you can walk exiting a visit at the Sainte Chapelle... for example ;-)


Hotel de Ville

- Café "Marguerite", facing the hotel de ville. Nice deco.

- Café "Clémentine", rue de la Coutellerie.




- Several Jazz clubs: Le Sunset, Le Duc des Lombards, le Baiser salé... All about "live music" at night...

- La Guiness Tavern. same place... More rock bands. Quite busy place, but nice. Closing never before 5am!...


Les Halles

- Le Forum des Halles : a huge complex of shops and gardens.

- Jazz-club "Le New Morning", in the rue des petites écuries. Very nice place with famous concerts...


Gare de l'Est

- Café Totalement à l'est...

- Food shop Chez Schmid... where we used to stop for a snack or a croissant when our terminal was there...


Gare du nord

- Le Rendez-vous des Belges, 23 rue de Dunkerke. For beers amateurs!!

- Le"Caffé Lafayette" , rue de saint Quentin. Nice colored deco, nice place.
